WILDLIFE ECO HOLIDAYS
THE PYRENEES
ARIEGE FRANCE

Walking Holidays In The Pyrenees
All our Holidays are undertaken with the ECO ethos to protect the Wildlife

Walking will help you discover the magnificent un-spoilt wilderness of the Ariege.
There is an abundance of rare wildlife and stunning scenery in this special corner of France, we believe it is unparalleled anywhere else in Europe.
The Ariege is a nature lover’s paradise, whether you are here just to walk and take in the ambiance of the breathtakingly beautiful landscapes, stroll across splendid mountain meadows with amazing wild flowers,
rivers and streams or witness the tranquillity of remote mountain lakes and ancient forests,
Ariege has it all.

You may be lucky and find some of the rare Orchids that can be found in the meadows or maybe even
catch a glimpse of the elusive Brown Bear and Isards that populate this region of the Pyrenees

Ariege is the least populated department of France and is steeped in history and famous for the prehistoric
caves with ancient drawings.
The region is littered with tranquil, picturesque villages where you can sample the real taste of French
country cuisine and its local wines.
