Ariege is the most un-exploited climbing area in France.
Ariege is the most un-exploited climbing area in France.
It has 1000’s of climbs at all grades.
Whether you like the clipping of bolts on the sun stricken limestone sport climbing crags or prefer the adventurous traditional climbing on remote mountains, the Pyrenees has everything.
Are you a climbing beginner and new to the sport? Or maybe you’re pushing the hard numbers with the climbing elite? Ariege has it all.

Sport climbs F3a-F8c or beyond.

Limestone & Granite provide 2 distinct types of climbing. Short 10-30m single pitch climbs or multi pitch routes up to 1000m.
The weather conditions generally sun and lots of it so pack your quick draws, and grab your rope.
The area is climbable all times of the year with dozens of venues to choose from, including the world
famous Dent D‘Orlu, a 1000m granite monster, Sinsat the sport climbing mecca, and the superb
granite routes located at Auzat.
Fancy Bouldering? The granite blocks of Tarasconne and Orlu provide superb bouldering circuits
for the beginner, intermediate and expert levels, providing an abundance of overhangs, slabs, slopers, crimpers and jugs to get to grips with.
Just remember to bring plenty of chalk!
We will take you and bring you back from climbing venues.

Climbing shoes
And a full rack if you want to do it trad style!

Price £350 per person. (Minimum 2 persons)
Includes:

Pick up and drop off from Toulouse or Carcassonne airports, daily transport to and from climbing venues, shared accommodation, provisions for continental breakfast, picnic lunches and evening meals.
