Vulture (breeding locally), Bonellis eagle, Capercaillie, Tengmalms owl,
Eagle Owl, Black Woodpecker, White Backed Woodpecker, Wall Creeper, Snow finch, Short Toed Eagle, Griffon & Egyptian vultures, Citril Finch, Subalpine Warbler, Alpine Accentor, Rock Thrush, Golden Oriole, Black Wheatear, Rock Sparrow, Hoopoe and many, many more. Lammergeier breeding sites are always popular; watching these magnificent raptors with their 3-metre wingspan carrying out dramatic aerial displays is an experience never to be forgotten. |

Bearded Vulture (Lammergeier), Griffon Vulture, Golden Eagle, Egyptian Vulture
have all been seen flying over the house were you will be staying. Red squirrels, Edible dormice (it's ok they’re not on our menu!) Fly Catchers; Bull Finches & Crested tits are just a few that have been breeding in the grounds. A regular visitor to the garden is the Black Woodpecker. |
